Public-record event identity builder
A data-center public-record document ID is only useful if you can tell whether tomorrow’s headline is the same event. This builder outputs a normalized docket event identity — source, document ID, event class — the way Watt Brief dedups a morning.
Use the ID on the agency page. Do not invent one.
Event key
Enter a source, document ID, and event class.
Identity is source + document ID + event class. Watt Brief sends a row once. A restated headline is not a change. The same key returns only if the underlying record itself moved — a new filing, vote, class, deadline, or denial. Related clocks stay on that row.
How to read this
Paste the ID the agency printed. If two packets share a source and ID but differ in class — a comment deadline versus a denial — they are different keys. If they share the key and the facts did not change, Watt Brief does not send again. Confirm the source URL before you act.
Educational planning aid only — not legal, engineering, or investment advice. Thresholds and clocks here are illustrative of common public-record screens. Live numbers live in the tariff, docket, or county packet and change. Confirm every identity on the issuing source. Contact hello@wattbrief.com.
